Six new awards are now open to businesses as part of the North of England Excellence Awards 2011.

The new awards will recognise excellence in customer service, innovation, leadership, lean, learning and development, and sustainability. They will run alongside the existing Excellence Awards, which cover all areas of the organisation’s performance.

The awards are open to private, public and voluntary organisations of all sizes throughout the North. Organisers North of England Excellence are also seeking volunteer assessors – typically managers with an understanding of business improvement who want to broaden their experience.
